Dat zou ik heel belachelijk vinden. Het was meer een race-incident en zeker niet de fout van Colciago.

Als Giovanardi remt, dan gaat het hele deelnemersveld hem voorbij. Geen enkele racer remt toch bij een inhaalpoging.

Maar dat trok toch op niks? Een nieuw laagje asfalt had wel gemogen. Ik denk dat daar zo'n 20 jaar een remsporen oplagen.

Dat wel, maar die asfaltlaag was gewoon lachwekkend. Ik was nog aan't denken dat ze dan juist zo goed in Zolder konden komen rijden.

Ook hier mogen we de FIA de zwarte piet toespelen

Jose Abed, Circuitdirecteur Puebla, legt de schuld van de slechte staat van het asfalt bij de FIA neer. Volgens hem heeft het asfalt 200 dagen nodig om uiteindelijk in de perfekte staat te komen. Doordat de FIA nogal traag is met het nemen van beslissingen kwam er pas in februari een goedkeuring voor de huidige lay-out. Tussen februari en juni liggen geen 200 dagen

De laatste voorbereidingen aan het circuit zijn nog gebeurd op de woensdag en donderdag voor de race Gevolg? De baan was zo stoffig dat de coureurs met hun huurauto maar de baan hebben schoon gereden voor zover dat mogelijk was.

E.e.a staat te lezen in de Autosport van 30-6. De coureurs uiten stevige kritiek op het circuit. Je vraagt je af welke FIA-kluns op vrijdag of zaterdag het circuit heeft goedgekeurd.............
