The fact that the team is not responding to requests for statements is a bad sign, as if the rumours are not correct they would need to be killed as quickly as possible.

Amai, dan zitte ze al vanaf midde dit seizoen te werken aan een auto voor 2009. En dan gaan ze (misschien) stoppen

Aiai. En de Formule 1 was net zo goed op weg met kostenbesparende maatregelen...
Als Honda al zover moet gaan, wat moeten we dan nog gaan verwachten?

Als Honda gaat volgen er nog, kan bijna niet anders. Het is wel geweten dat Honda soms rare beslissingen neemt. Zie testproject met Harvey Postlethwaite/Jos Verstappen.

Ja jongens, de crisis begint zich serieus te laten voelen!

Nog even en we hebben 4 wagens per constructeur om aan de broodnodige 20 auto's te komen Brawn heeft al een lijntje met zijn oude vrienden uit Italie om eventueel Ferrari blokken erin te gooien!

Zo denk ik er ook over. Dit zou wel eens een kettingreactie tot gevolg kunnen hebben. Ik vrees dat onder andere die andere grote Japanse constructeur, Toyota, gezien de tegenvallende raceresultaten en de slechte verkoopcijfers, het ook wel eens voor bekeken zou kunnen houden.

Ik denk dat dit nog maar het begin is .... en eigenlijk maar goed ook dat er een grote constructeur mee stopt, hoe spijtig ook. Het is te hopen dat nu eindelijk de ogen eens open gaan van de heren die het voor het zeggen hebben = Ecclestone. Hij en niemand anders is hiervan de de schuld. Hoe kan het dat 1 persoon in zo'n organisatie het voor het zeggen heeft, hoe kan het dat iedereen blijft dansen naar zijn pijpen, alles blijven accepteren wat hij zegt en blijven uitvoeren wat hij vraagt ? Nu houdt een team er mee op, maar ook zullen er meerdere en meerdere circuits aan ten onder gaan. ( zie Duitsland, Canada, Frankrijk, Engeland.....Belgie !!! ). Wie van de toeschouwers kan zijn gevraagde prijzen nog betalen....ben eens benieuwd naar het volgende seizoen toe....denk dat we nog veel verassingen gaan meemaken. Nogmaals, hoe spijtig het ook moge zijn !!!

Ik heb 18 vrije zondagnamiddagen nu om wat anders te gaan doen...

't is allemaal mijn fout. Toen ik een Peugeot 307 kocht ging het van kwaad naar erger bij het Franse team en 2 jaar later stoptte ze er mee. Ik heb mijn Honda in Januari 2 jaar...

Dat Honda stopt met F1 vind ik niet erg, zolang het maar geen gevolgen gaat hebben voor het Acura ALMS project.


Dit is nou het nadeel van allemaal fabrieksteams. In het verleden waren de meeste teams "prive" teams, dus als dan de motorleverancier stopt kon men aankloppen bij een andere fabrikant.

Het zou mij niet verbazen als Toyota ook volgt. Ze gingen normaal een Dome met hybride Toyota aandrijving presenteren vorige maand, maar dat is niet door gegaan omdat het hele motorsport programma opnieuw geevalueerd wordt.

Dit had ik niet zien aankomen, de eerste die ik dacht dat ging vertrekken was toch Toyota. Maar als Honda stopt ja wie zit er dan nog in zeer slechte financiele papieren ? De tijd brengt raad zeggen ze
