24 hours of Daytona 2007: De aanloop.......(Goossens is al aan het testen)

De volgende namen gaan we aan de start zien:
Max Angellelli Patick Long Katherine Legge Paul en Wally Dallenbach Christian Fittipaldi Sam Hornish jr. Helio Castroneves Casey Mears Tony Stewart Scott Pruett Patrick Carpentier Jörg Bergmeister Colin Braun (volg deze naam !!) Paul Tracy Waarschijnlijk gaan we nog een hele reeks kampioenen en toppers aan het werk zien. Daytona 24 uur in zijn huidige vorm begint het voorproefje te worden van de toppers op het nieuwe seizoen. Er zitten een hoop namen tussen die normaal gesproken een goede boterham verdienen met racen. Die doen deze race niet voor de centen, ze krijgen er bij wijze van spreken een onkostenvergoeding voor. Waarom doen ze dan mee? Voor het plezier, voorgerecht voor het nieuwe seizoen, rijden tegen andere toppers uit de andere klassen. Toch mooi dat er zoiets nog is. Kans dat we Verstappen ooit aan het werk zien tijdens de 24 uur van Daytona is dus nihil

De winnaars van vorig jaar Scott Dixon en Dan Wheldon gaan waarschijnlijk ook meedoen. Net zoals Juan dat valt wel af te lezen van deze quote van Dixon
