There are some rumours flying around that GTR demo should be released in about 3 weeks. Let the investigation begin!

There has been a big discussion on what engine is GTR using. I got the word straight from Ian Bell: "What we’re using is a new graphics engine from ISI built up over 10 years. It’s not based on any previous ISI ‘GAME’.". I hope lots of you can sleep better now.

Ja hallo, mogen die mensen ook eens iets verdienen ja?

Ik vind dat heel lovenswaardig wat allerlei mensen gratis doen voor de simracers, maar GTR2002 had toch wel een danig niveau en impact dat een commerciële uitbreiding/game niet kon uitblijven(*) en dan heb ik liever dat de originele makers er wat aan hebben dan een stel loonslaven in het voormalig oostblok. Die eersten hebben toch noch iets voeling met de simmers.

Voorts steken die modders daar bakken tijd in en zijn er ook kosten verbonden aan het hosten van sites, files, forums, etc... Ik weet niet wat de omhaling voor SimBin destijds heeft opgebracht, maar het zou me verbazen moesten ze uit de kosten geraakt zijn. Toch zeker niet als ze een zekere waarde op hunnen tijd plakten.

Daarbij, er zijn nog genoeg gratis mods om U mee bezig te houden he!! -Ik heb zelfs den helft nog nie gespeeld en da wil al iets zeggen.

GTR is based on the FIA GT championship, it simulates the greatest supercars in the world racing on some of the worlds most exciting circuits.

- The most accurate physics taken directly from the data logs of the real cars as they raced on the real circuits to create the most intense racing experience ever.

GTR Contains
10 officially licensed real world tracks and 68 officially licensed team specific GT and NGT cars plus additional unlockable bonuses.

The following car models are included: Ferrari 550 Maranello, Ferrari 575 GTC, Ferrari 360 Modena, Chrysler Viper GTS-R, Lister Storm, Lamborghini Diablo GT-R, Lamborghini Murciélago R-GT, Saleen S7-R, Mosler MT900, Chevrolet Corvette C5-R, Porsche 993 GT2, Porsche 996 Turbo, Porsche 996 GT3-RS, Porsche 996 GT3 Cup, Seat Toledo, Morgan Aero 8, BMW Z3 M, Lotus Elise, Vertigo Streiff.

The following official tracks are included: Barcelona, Magny-Cours, Enna-Pergusa, Brno, Donington, Spa 24H, Anderstorp, Oschersleben, Estoril and Monza.

Most of the real drivers from FIA GT will appear in person in the game in addition to a mass of real racing footage from the FIA GT season.

Different game modes
Two completely different Game modes. Simulation and Arcade mode with individual physics to suit every game fan.

Multiplayer & Online
The game is optimized for full LAN and Internet support. GTR will be hosted on dedicated servers on the Internet. The gamers can expected a thick smell of burning rubber and race car fumes when they log on with GTR in late summer of 2004. These servers will also host additional features, such as add-on cars, tracks, and possibly whole championships for dowload.

Online Competitions
We will offer gamers to participate in online racing series based on the level of skills you possess as well as your opponents. You will qualify in the skill based series from
