Britcar 24 Hours Silverstone
Dit weekend is de eerste uitvoering van de Britcar 24 Hours in Silverstone..........weinig Belgen en Nederlanders die meedoen.
Alleen Jan De Wit, Paul Nieuwenhuis, Jeroen Van De Heuvel en Cor Euser op een Mantis en Tom Cloet op een M3 van Moore International. Zeg dat wel dat er een paar grote namen inzitten.
Lijkt me wel tof om dit kampioenschap een 24Uren race te zien rijden. Als ik eindelijk op mijn eigen benen sta, wat ik bedoel met werken ga en dat is hopelijk pas over een paar jaar, zal ik zeker eens naar deze race afzakken, als deze dan nog bestaat. Mvg...

Je kan alles vinden over deze wedstrijd op dailysportscar.com, full coverage met interviews, foto's, live-verslagen, enz. Als je mij een mail stuurt, kan ik je tot het einde van deze maand een login/paswoord geven. Dit is een speciale actie om mensen te laten kennis maken met de site.

"Martin Short, Shaun Balfe, Jamie Derbyshire en Nick Jacobs hebben met de Mosler MT900R van Rollcentre Racing de pole veroverd voor de allereerste editie van de Britcar 24 Hours. Zij gingen de Porsches van Cirterk Racing en Parr Motorsport vooraf. De Nederlanders Jan De Wit, Paul Nieuwenhuis, Jeroen Van De Heuvel en Cor Euser kwalificeerden zich met een Marcos Mantis als zevende (3de in hun klasse). Onze jonge landgenoot Tom Cloet plaatste de BMW E36 van Moore Motorsport op een 21ste plaats (4de in klasse 1). In totaal namen 57 wagens deel aan de kwalificaties."

Toch weer twee berichten in deze thread die vallen onder categorie Spam c.q. ongewenst
 We zullen maar weer eens tolerant zijn.........Wat betreft deze 24 uur zelf............de eerste 15 die onderling al 10 seconden verschil hebben. Kwalitatief is er nog wel ruimte voor verbetering
