Op pitstop.tv staat te lezen dat Champion, Oreca en Goh in 2005 een R8 inzetten. Zal Goh dan toch deelnemen aan de 24 uur van Le Mans?!

Audi blijft Le Mans trouw

Het originele bericht op pitstop.tv is gewijzigd

Eerst stond er "De teams Champion, Goh en Oreca zetten in 2005 nog de R8 in. De huidige Audi wordt wel 50 kilo zwaarder en verliest wat aan vermogen."
Nu staat Goh er niet meer tussen.

Lola is hard aan het werk, behalve een LMP2 staat een LMP1 ook in de planning:

Shock-move: BMS Scuderia denkt er sterk aan om het FIA GT vaarwel te zeggen en eens goedendag te zeggen aan de LMES / 24 uur van Le Mans. De deelname zou gebeuren via de vertrouwde Prodrive 550's. Weer een klant minder voor de Maserati MC12

Wellicht in 2006 de overstap naar de Aston Martin DBR 9 (ook Prodrive ). FIA GT 2006? LMES 2006 ? Dat staat in de sterren geschreven. Overigens schijnt de het duo Gollin / Bobbi belangstelling te tonen voor een overstap naar het Grand-AM kampioenschap. Jawel, de DP-kisten!

Er wordt veel gegokt over de Franse piloten van de Oreca R8:
* Sarrazin, maar die blijkt dan volledig zijn aandacht gevestigd te hebben op WRC (en is een van de kanshebber voor het laatste zitje van Subaru)
* Bourdais, maar de 24 uur van Le Mans valt samen met een CART wedstrijd
* Minassian, maar die ligt nog onder contract bij Creation voor 2005

Er is ook al gegist naar Stephane Ortelli.

Op pitstop.tv staat te lezen dat Prost het aanbod van Oreca geweigerd heeft om zijn relatie met Toyota niet in gevaar te brengen en omdat hij Le Mans gevaarlijk vindt (mietje ).

Dankzij Orange zal er nog een 2de R8 deelnemen (naast de reeds aangekondigde Playstation R8) Spyker zal dus waarschijnlijk niet kunnen rekenen op de sponsoring van Orange.

Prost weigert zit in Franse Audi voor Le Mans (pitstop.tv)

hmm, zijn generatiegenoot Boutsen zal Le Mans ook wel te gevaarlijk vinden, sinds zijn crash een paar jaar geleden
