de website is nu echt online en wat er opstaat aan features van het spel :drool:
Forget F1 2002, GP4, vergeet zelfs nascar racing 2002 en DTM race driver. DIT wordt het spel om te hebben.

ik citeer ff een stukje over de wagens
It is also possible to swap components between cars. So you could try a new carburetor or indeed even change the engine for a whole new one. This makes it possible for those who prefer preparing and fixing cars to driving them to enjoy using Racing Legends.

Ik zou toch nog nie te vroeg roepen dat dit het spel der spellen gaat worden, want dat dachten we van DTM ook en hoe dichter we tegen de release aankomen hoe slechter het spel lijkt te worden, dus ik wacht nog even af met mijn oordeel

Naar het schijnt gaat dit alles 100 euro kosten voor de core (=1 wagen + 1 circuit) en nog eens 20 euro per addon (=1 wagen + 1 circuit).
Maar ik ken de bron van deze gegevens niet helemaal, zou vanop een of ander forum moeten komen waar ze onlangs een interview hadden met de makers. Het spel met 20 circuits en 20 wagens zou dan 500 euro kosten, en dat geld heb ik alvast niet :-(

I asked that if the sales were expected to be about 5000 what would the price be, and the answer was around the £100 mark. Track and Car Add ons would perhaps be around £20 but would depend on how much the license costs were and how detailed the model was."

Natuurlijk wel logisch dat ze hun investering terug willen he....maar de enige manier om de prijs van het spel te drukken is om er met z'n allen achter gaan staan.
Die add-ons zijn niet helemaal noodzakelijk, van zodra de core beschikbaar is zullen er wel 3rd party dingen komen. Toch spijtig dat er nog steeds geen degelijk open-source sim project bestaat, heb daar al vaak zin voor gekregen maar dat is zo complex he...

ge kunt nu wel zeggen da is veel he maar ge kunt het ook zien als een paar spellen die ge aankoopt he. (met die add-ons)
