KACB Awards 2001
Tijdens een schitterend georganiseerde kampioenenviering, stelde de Koninklijke Automobielclub van België haar genodigden de editie ‘RACB Awards 2001’ voor, een uitgave onder verantwoordelijkheid van Guy De Schepper.

 Zou wel tof zijn moest ge van elk van die piloten een fotoke gehad hebben.  Toch bedankt Yves.

Heuvelklim, klimkoers, of beter bekend als 'Course de Côte' is een vorm van bergop-sprint, verreden in drie reeksen, waarvan de snelste tijd over de reeksen de overwinning brengt. Zoals je ziet zijn er heel wat klassen, gaande van standaard toeringwagens tot ex-formule 3000 bolides. Het geheel is behoorlijk spectaculair.
We hebben een aantal MAK-leden met de intenties dit kampioenschap te gaan rijden, en we gaan zeker een supportersrit inleggen naar één of meerdere wedstrijden.

Je ziet er fantastisch getunde auto's die tot op de limiet worden gereden. De klim naar de citadel van Namen is ne klassieker.
Internationaal is bekendste en beruchtste de klim van Pikes Peak in de USA. Daar doen de gekste "dingen" in mee. http://www.ppihc.com/index1.htm? Last edited by Werner333; 31-12-2001 at 18:48.

pikes peak kende ik wel. Maar om du ne te vergelijken met iets in Belgie.

Weet iemand of een van die plaatsen op die heuvelklim-kalender in de buurt van Moresnet ligt?
Heb daar weleens wat van gehoord, maar of dat nu een "wilde klim" of een officieel gebeuren is, geen idee.........

die klim schijnt te zijn aan de belgische kant van het drielandenpunt........
Vroeger, toen ik nog in papa's pretfabriek zat, waren er hier in Zuid Limburg diverse heuvelklims. Of dat een kampioenschap was, geen idee...... Helaas, door alle milieu-troubles verdwenen

Toch raar dat er nergens sprake is van Formule wagens in deze awards, noch Formule Ford/3 enz is sprake van ?
