Spyker heeft over 2008 haar productie verdubbeld las ik onlangs en zouden in staat moeten zijn nog beter te doen in 2009 met de hulp van Snoras bank voor de nodige kapitaal injecties.

Geely heeft interesse in Volvo.

Ik denk dat we vannacht of morgen eens goed moeten kijken op het nieuws. Er staat wat te gebeuren binnen GM heb ik vernomen. Opel zal blijven bestaan daar niet van maar GM niet meer.
Net gehoord van iemand binnen GM. Ben benieuwd of het vannacht gaat gebeuren zoals ze verwachten

Jups, we zouden het normaal gezien om middernacht moeten horen. Volgens mij trekken ze zich gewoon los van Amerika en gaan ze Europees verder...

Dat is ook het beste.

Dit is een gerucht
"In Breda mochten ze niet meer printen bij opel omdat het papier voor de printers op waren en geen geld was om nieuw te kopen"

Vind ik wel heel straf ma stel dat het waar is dan waren ze toch heel erg diep gegaan en veel te lang gewacht met de beslissingen.

Dan zullen ze in Europa om te beginnen toch een oplossing moeten bedenken - en liefst snel - om de patenten te regelen. Die horen immers toe aan GM en niet aan Opel.

Wellicht dat GM failliet zal gaan om daarna alle subdivisies in onderdelen te verkopen aan de hoogst biedende. Eens zien of de mannen van Opel in Europa dan "Opel" zullen kunnen binnenhalen. Ben echt benieuwd hoe dit gaat aflopen.

Overigens, hoe kan je succesvol auto's verkopen als je de laatste 10 NIETS aan je gamma gedaan hebt. De 95 is al zo oud als de straat, daar wil toch niemand nog in gezien worden. Terwijl de 93 telkens als nieuw model wordt aangeprezen, maar in wezen ook al ettelijke jaren meegaat.

Saab draait al jaren verlies dus ik kan me voorstellen dat de Zweedse regering (of andere investeerders) weinig zin heeft om daar geld in te steken.


Draait Opel ook zo slecht? Ik dacht dat juist de Europese GM dochters (Opel en Vauxhall) juist redelijk goed presteerden.

Pontiac gaat waarschijnlijk eerste worden in de wedstrijd: "hoe doek ik een merk op?"

De combinatie Opel/Vauxhall is inmiddels door GM verkocht aan Magna.
Daarnaast heeft GM ook het merk Saturn verkocht. De nieuwe eigenaar is Roger Penske!

Overigens zijn er sterke banden tussen Opel en Saturn:
Saturn Astra = Opel Astra
Saturn Vue = Opel Antara (die eigenlijk weer een Daewoo is )
Opel GT = Saturn Sky

Wie volgt? Holden, Saab?
