Rumour in the Formula One paddock this afternoon indicated that Jean Alesi may have just finished his last race with the Prost Acer team. Alesi drove a solid race to bring home his Ferrari powered Prost in sixth place, scoring valuable points for Alain Prost's team. Now the rumour suggests that Jean Alesi will be wearing Jordan yellow when the Formula One teams reconvene in Hungary in three weeks time.
Alesi was not his usual jovial self after finished in sixth place but told ITV sport that he was pleased for the team. "I am pleased as at the start we had a problem," Alesi told ITV correspondent Louise Goodman. "The first gear was too-long [and then] I saw my team-mate flying in the air and I was bit shocked, but I am pleased to have this point for sure."
Alesi was then asked about the paddock rumour that he could be racing for Jordan in the near future. "Yes it's true. But today it's a day of happiness," the French-Sicilian continued. "I will explain something a little bit later on."

zie ik wel zitten moet ik zeggen. Ik geloof dat beide zelfs al eens samengereden hebben in een lagere autosportklasse.
