Uiteraard komt niet iedereen terug met een ander race event. Maar ongetwijfeld zullen er heel wat mensen naar andere evenementen komen. Aangezien ze hebben kunnen kennis maken met het circuit en de autosport...

Vooral naambekendheid van het circuit en een bepaalde serie bij een veel breder publiek is ook een zeer positief feit van deze gratis evenementen. Marketing noemt zoiets

Kleine voorspelling, het gaat weer file worden in de paddockzone Na bezoekersproblemen van 2004 heb ik een hard hoofd in een goede gang van zaken de volgende week.

De bottleneck van de voetgangersbrug boven start/finish hebben ze opgelost. De cameraman staat nu op het "dak" van de brug. Echter de doorgang ter hoogte van de OTO-bar is wellicht nog smaller dan vorig jaar. Vanaf de toren tot aan de helling bij de eerste chicane staat een joekel van een tent. Veel langer heb ik ze nog niet gezien, zijn wel allemaal gescheiden compartimenten. De tent komt tot aan de doorgangsweg...............dus als ze a.s. zondag met wagens, pitcrews en apparatuur via deze weg naar de grid moeten dan gaat het weer vast lopen.

Ik denk er aan om enkel zaterdag te komen, Megane Trophy nul en om op zondag een ganse dag tegen dagjestoeristen aan te lopen heb ik geen zin.
Dan misschien voor èèn keer beter naar live BTCC en live DTM kijken op tv.....

Voor de mensen die donderdag eens naar Zolder willen tuffen, het schema van deze dag:

09:05-10:55 World Series, test
11:05-11:55 Eurocup FRenault 2.0, test
13:05-14:55 World Series, test
15:05-16:55 Eurocup FRenault 2.0, test

Lange sessies..........zal ook hard nodig zijn met het aantal te verwachten rode vlaggen. Daar waren ze vorig jaar niet vies van om die te gebruiken, en uit de verhalen van de wintertesten van dit jaar zijn daar nog niet vanaf gestapt

Ik zak donderdag eens af naar het circuit. Volgens Frank en Sabine wordt het zaterdag ca. 20 graden en zondag maar liefst 25 graden. Met al die vrijkaarten, zal het dus lekker druk zijn dit weekend. Ik hou het op een rustige dag zonder al dat volk...

Een nog een Belg aan de start............als ik het artikel goed lees op italiaracing.net Het team Avelon schijnt wat probleempjes te hebben met Ivan Bellarosa, de beoogde rijder voor dit seizoen. Dan maar een vervanger Heylen gaat (waarschijnlijk) de klus klaren.
