Red Bull en/of Toyota gaan al oefenen in 2006!! Het Red Bull team pikt de laatste wedstrijden van dit jaar al mee. Niet in een Toyota maar in een Dodge Charger. Op die manier kan de nieuwe structuur al de nodige ervaring opdoen.

Toyota houdt zich niet helemaal aan de gangbare NASCAR regels:

The big three, Chevrolet, Ford and Dodge have open programs so that anyone wishing to build one of those engines, can buy the parts and construct one. But Toyota's program is closed and doesn't allow the independent builders to buy the parts. It's not available to anyone not a part of the Toyota Racing family.

Hahaha, geweldig, die denken zeker nog dat Toyota het Toyota van een paar decennia geleden is... Beetje zielig. Ze zouden zo eens de Amerikaanse gevestigde & in slaap gevallen orde moeten bedreigen...

Ach, humor hebben ze wel die rednecks.
Jammer dat ze niet doorhebben dat het meedoen van Toyota de deur opent voor andere constructeurs en races op andere continenten, ik denk namelijk dat Europese autosportliefhebbers wel een paar Nascar-races op dit continent zullen waarderen, ik in ieder geval wel...

Zijn er trouwens al foto's van die Toyota?

Dankjewel, ik vind 'm mooier dan de andere auto's zeg, en omdat ik zelf een Paseo rijd vind ik het wel erg interessant om het Toyota avontuur in Nascar te volgen, ik ga die Daytona 500 zeker kijken...
