Yaris cup Qual : Crash Jamers
De kwalificatiesessie voor de Toyota Yaris Cup op vrijdag werd ontsierd door 2 zware ongevallen. Het eerste ongeval deed zich reeds voor in de 2e ronde toen Stephane Priac bij het uitkomen van de Raidillon zwaar in de muur knalde, met een rode vlag tot gevolg. Priac bleef ongedeerd.
De 2e rode vlag kwam amper 6 ronden later toen Kelly Jamers hard in de muur belandde ter hoogte van de bus-stop chicane. Jamers diende naar het ziekenhuis voor een checkup, maar alles bleek mee te vallen. Het valt nog af te wachten of de wagen opgelapt zal kunnen worden voor de wedstrijd. Door het chaotisch verloop van de sessie kwamen de meeste favorieten niet in hun ritme. Zo lukte Steve Van Bellingen (pole in Zolder) pas de 17e chrono en Koen Wauters 18e. Zelfs kampioen Bruixola moest genoegen nemen met een 9e plaats. Kwalficaties: 1. Croes David, 3:09.304 2. Mast Louis, 3:09.342 3. Allart Benoit, 3:09.361 4. Romani Patricio, 3:09.560 5. Beckers Leo, 3:09.592 6. Houbben Christian, 3:10.451 7. Liard Jean-Christophe, 3:10.547 8. Colruyt Johan, 3;10.597 9. Bruixola Olivier, 3:10.743 10. Herman Vic, 3:10.844 autosport.be

de wagen zal niet meer opgelapt kunnen worden en Kelly zal dit weekend dus niet starten.

ennuh onze paddocker Yaris Cup is vanmiddag tijdens race 1 achterwaarts de banden ingedoken op post 10. Het kontje stond omhoog
 De mannen van post 10 hebben wat grind weggehaald en hem een duwtje gegeven. Zonder al te veel schade kon hij verder.........ik zag het live gebeuren op Post 11
