Toyota heeft aangekondigd dat het nog geen plannen heeft om de stekker uit het formule 1 project te trekken.

Ben benieuwd hoe lang ze het nog gaan trekken

Honda heeft er wel alles aan gedaan om een goede wagen voor 2009 te bouwen. Vroeg gestopt met ontwikkeling van de 2008 wagen, testkilometers gespaard voor de winterperiode, Ross Brown, ...

Die Mexicaan (2e rijkste man ter wereld, 60 miljard!) lijkt me de beste kandidaat. Ik hoorde op Radio Le Mans dat Petrobras interesse heeft om het team te sponsoren (60 miljoen). Voor zowel Petrobras als de Mexicaan is de Braziliaanse markt erg belangrijk. Dus Bruno Senna en Jenson Button achter het stuur?

Het Honda team zou verkocht zijn aan een Mexicaan van Telmex.
Het is nog niet oficeel.

Dan hebben we een GP van Mexico in 2010 of 2011 en Salvador Duran als testcoureur die in de loop van de komende jaren Button gaat vervangen.

Als ze gewoon zouden stoppen kregen ze ook niks. Nu moeten ze bij Honda ten minste geen ontslagvergoedingen betalen. Dus eigenlijk doen ze een deal.

en nu ga je zien, die gaan in 2009 mee vooraan rijden in bepaalde races en de vruchten plukken van het vele ontwikkelingswerk dat Honda erin gestoken heeft. Met Ross Brawn en Button nog aan boord verwacht ik er toch wel wat van. Het ganse team zal super gemotiveerd zijn. En dan gaat er natuurlijk gezegd worden dat Honda er veel te vroeg de stekker heeft uitgetrokken.

Hopelijk keren ze ooit nog terug als motorenleverancier...
