The nr 6 Carsport Corvette recovered from their eighth position in the first free practice session to set the fastest time of the day - a lap of 1:46.481. They were eight tenths of a second ahead of the nr 9 Vitaphone Maserati, which was in its turn eight tenths ahead of the nr 17 Russian Age Ferrari 550. Fourth fastest was the nr 11 Larbre Ferrari. The nr 66 Gruppe M Porsche of Lieb and Rockenfeller continues to lead GT2, setting a best time of 1:52.316. The Balfe Motorsport Mosler overtook the nr 74 Ebimotors Porsche to go third fastest in GT2/G2

Graham Nash Saleen gaat terug een stuk sneller met de grotere vleugel. De Maseratis blijven sterk, ondanks veel ballast (Vitaphone wagens rijden met +80 kg rond).

Waarom staat er de Carsport corvette en niet de GLPK corvette, pfff. Ja ik ben een chauvinist.

Een zeer mooie prestatie in de tweede VT van de GLPK Carsport jongens. Ook mogen we het andere Belgische team niet vergeten dat aanwezig is hé. Belgian Racing met de Gillet Vertigo zijn ook goed aan 't rijden, alleen is een kloof van enkele seconden wel wat groot.

Mannekes, Mannekes...Dat gat van de Vertigo tegenover de Bafle Mosler valt nog mee.
Je mag echt niet vergeten dat dit de eerste keer is dat de wagen rijdt sedert het Bahrain GT Festival...Bafle heeft al pakken meer kunnen testen. Je kan die wagens gewoon niet tegen elkaar afzetten dit weekend ook al rijden ze in dezelfde klasse..

Ik zal Renaud vanavond is bellen om t verhaal van de dag te horen...

De nieuwe deco van de Gillet is maar matig...erg matig...
