Kristian Ghedina in het WTCC?
Kristian Ghedina is bij sommigen wel bekend als down-hill skiėr maar dat ie reeds met F3000 wagen heeft getest was mij volstrekt onbekend. Als je het artikel op autosport.com mag geloven is hij "right on the pace" zonder noemenswaardige ervaring.

Verderop in het artikel geeft hij de voorkeur aan het WTCC, toch benieuwd of we die ergens terugzien in 2006. Na Luc Alphand de volgende die de lange latten inruild voor 4 wielen.

Ook Luc Alphand was niet de eerste. Ook Bob Wollek, Franz Klammer en de Amerikaanse broertjes Mare hadden er eerst een succesvolle skicarričre opzitten vooraleer ze op 4 wielen overschakelden.
Net zoals motorracers hebben skiėrs blijkbaar een perfect gevoel voor snelheid, reflexen en evenwicht opgebouwd, waardoor de overstap naar de autosport weinig problemen oplevert.

Chicherit die dit jaar meedeed aan de Dakar en er ook een etappe won met zijn BMW X3, is ook een ex-skiër. Freestyle meer bepaald

Die stelling moet kloppen als je leest (gt-eins.de) dat de volgende skiėr van start gaat in het FIA GT 2006. Bij Renauer Motorsport zien we Hans Knauß aan het werk.
