Raceversie BMW Z4
Op Autovisie.nl staan sinds vandaag 2 foto's van een raceversie van de nieuwe Z4 M Coupé. Volgens de beperkte info die gegeven is zou deze wagen bedoeld zijn voor klanten en beschikt hij over een 400 pk variant van de gekende zes-in-lijn. De lancering vindt plaats op het aankomende salon van Genève.
Ik vind het in elk geval een leuk wagentje!  De link vind je hier!

Zou dit een GT2 kunnen zijn? Of is 400 pk (uit 3.2 6 in lijn) dan te weinig? Er werd geluisterd dat de BMW M3 (GT2S) in ALMS (die ook met 6 cilinder rijdt) later tijdens het seizoen vervangen zou worden door een echte GT2 wagen gebaseerd op de Z4 coupe.
Ofwel een GT3? Misschien is hij wel op tijd klaar voor de volgende FIA GT3 testdagen. Eventueel 24 uur van Nurburgring. Last edited by gwyllion; 28-02-2006 at 14:09.

Ik vind het een prachtige wagen.
Als hij even goed rijdt als hij eruit ziet gaan menig piloten op de staart van hun wagen moeten gaan staan om te kunnen volgen.

Mooi maar wel tamelijk prijzig... Daar zit natuurlijk wel de jarenlange ervaring van BMW Motorsport bij in, dat maakt het plaatje al wat aangenamer ;-)
De achtervleugel komt integraal van de M3-GTR precies.
