Laleh Seddigh, een verdomd snel hoofddoekje
Soms kom je van die rare berichten tegen die de aandacht trekken. De snelste coureur van Iran blijkt een vrouw te zijn. Wist niet eens dat ze daar aan autosport deden
 Blijkt dat Laleh Seddigh daar alle mannen op een hoopje heeft gereden in een of ander vaag Iraans kampioenschap. Wat opmerkelijk aan het hele verhaal is, dat autosport de enige sport in Iran is waar mannen en vrouwen tegen elkaar mogen strijden. Autosport die een voorbeeldfunctie vervuld in een islamitisch land waar de Westerse wereld met argus-ogen naar kijkt. Maar die Laleh is wel een slimme tante, universitaire studie achter de rug. Pa is niet onbemiddeld Een vrouw op het podium in Iran met mannen als de nummer 2 & 3? Ze staat met race-overall, voorzien van een "burka", op het podium. Benieuwd of we die dame gaan terugzien in de Westerse wereld.
