Aus der Reihe Derrick...ITR/DTM gegen WTCC/KSO/Eurosport.
Niet alleen Nederlanders zijn dol op rechtzaken, ITR/DTM gaat het gevecht aan met KSO/Eurosport omtrent de kijkcijfers van het WTCC. Die schijnen volgens Mercedes Benz, oops ITR, ietwat te rooskleurig te zijn. KSO/Eurosport maakt mooi weer met wel zeer creatieve cijfers volgens de ITR.
Tja, waarom maakt men zich nou druk om die cijfers? Simpel, sponsorcontracten! Bepaalde contracten lopen af in 2006 tussen de ITR en de sponsors. De Duitsers zijn dus bang dat ze op de trein van het WTCC springen ivm met die mooie cijfers. Daarom heeft de ITR een ietwat pittig briefje gestuurd naar KSO met het dwingende verzoek om het bericht omtrent hun kijkcijfers in te trekken. Heeft de KSO daar geen zin in? Geen probleem, dan volgt er een schadeclaim! KSO is hierdoor verdrietig en heeft Max Mosley ingeschakeld om als vredespaus op te treden. Niet helemaal zijn taak maar toch werkt het. ITR heeft zijn pittige brief inmiddels aangepast. Beide kemphanen gaan met elkaar praten tijdens de DTM wedstrijd op Brands Hatch aanstaande. 2006, het jaar dat we met elkaar bekvechten via de pers en de rechtszaal  Nieuws staat te lezen in de MSA.

Dit is toch al oud nieuws? Ik heb dit al 1 of 2 maanden geleden op een ander forum (www.racing1.de?) gelezen.
Laat ITR zich maar druk maken om haar eigen "succesvolle" kampioenschap. Het geeft natuurlijk wel aan dat het huidige succces van WTCC de ITR niet lekker zit. Cijfers and statistieken (kijkcijfers, bezoekersaantalllen, etc.) zoals die door KSO en ITR gepresenteerd worden tijdens en na het seizoen neem ik zowiezo met een korrel zout.
