Wrc 2011
Dani Sordo (als er geen plaats is bij Ford) wordt genoemd als één van de mogelijke rijders bij Mini. In 2012 zou mogelijk Kimi Räikkönen over komen met Red Bull.

Sordo heeft 2 dagen lang de Mini getest en zou op het punt staan om te tekenen (autosport.com)

Juho Hanninen, huidig kampioen IRC, rijdt het seizoen 2011 in het WK ,in de S-WRC klasse met een Fabia S2000 gesponsord door Red Bull.

Volgende zeven teams hebben zich ingeschreven voor het seizoen:
Citroen:
- Citroën Total World Rally Team
- Ice1Racing
Ford:
- Ford World Rally Team
- M-Sport Stobart Ford World Rally Team
- Monster World Rally Team
- Munchi’s Ford World Rally Team
- Ferm Power Tools World Rally Team

Petter Solberg en Peter Van Merksteijn Jr hebben zich afzonderlijk ingeschreven, beiden op Citroen.
Later dit jaar komt daar natuurlijk nog het team van Mini bij.

Voor het Rallyes Super 2000 kampioenschap hebbn zich slechts zeven rijders ingeschreven: Martin Prokop, Ott Tänak, Nasser Al-Attiyah, Bernardo Sousa, Juho Hänninen, Karl Kruuda en Hermann Gassner

Amai, 7 teams !
Als het gelijkaardige wagens zijn, kan het weer spannend worden ..
Alleen jammer dat het maar twee merken zijn nu, maar we zullen maar niet klagen zeker.

Petter Solberg, zal gans het seizoen rijden (13 manches) met een Citroën DS3 WRC. Räikkönen zal 10 manches van het WRC betwisten.

Volgens Autohebdo kondigt VW op het einde van de maand in Portugal zijn deelname aan het WRC aan. De wagen zal in 2012 ontwikkeld worden alvorens een volledig seizoen te rijden in 2013.

Mooi !
Met de mini erbij, weer 4 teams..
Hopelijk blijven ze nog even op hetzelfde niveau zoals nu het geval is !

Nog iets wat ik me afvroeg:
niemand Tjoen zien uitleggen hoe de C4 wrc wat bij te regelen was aan het stuur..
Daar zat ne knop voor de diffs op, ik dacht dat dat niet mocht vorig seizoen ???

VW WRC programma wordt voorgesteld op 5 mei tijdens de rallye van Sardinie.
Nu VW naar WRC gaat worden de Dakar wagens omgebouwd met Porsche Cayenne body voor volgende Dakar.

Ondertussen is het ook spannend in Jordanie,
nog 1kp te gaan.
Latvala 0.5sec voor op Ogier !
Loeb 3de op 27sec
