Verstappen + Ralf Schumacher

The Arrows team announced today that Jos Verstappen would be staying with the squad until the end of 2002.

The 29-year-old Dutchman has been working solidly for the team this year, spending time at the front and showing good pace in the Arrows-Asiatech A21. He scored a point at the Austrian Grand Prix recently, and interestingly, has made the most separate successful overtaking manoeuvres in the sport with 59.

‘I'm very happy to be staying for another year as continuity in Formula One can never be underestimated,’ he said. ‘I have huge confidence in the OrangeArrows team and this shows they have confidence in me too.

Verstappen kan dus nog een seizoen gerust zijn. Ralf Schumacher daarentegen krijgt zomaar een contractverlenging tot 2004, wat toch wel een redelijk lange termijn is...

Ik denk dat Williams de opvolger van Michael Schumacher in Ralf Schumacher ziet. Wie niet trouwens, want bij die gasten zit het precies in de genen. Hoe Ralfke nu rijdt is top.

Ik begrijp niet wie/wat Verstappen in de F1 houdt.

bwa, hij crasht dan wel veel, maar em is ook serieus rap, en zorgt voor spectacel!!! en da zien de sponsor's graag!!

voor 3 jaar dus, da lijkt mij nie zo overdreven zene!!

ik bedoel redelijk lange termijn in Williams-termen, Airco. Een groot pak snelle coureurs dumpten zij na hun hoogtepunt (om weliswaar dubieuze redenen) dus had ik verwacht dat Ralfke naar bijvoorbeeld McLaren zou kunnen verkassen, ipv nog maaar liefst 3 seizoenen bij Williams te rijden.

Maar als ik Ralfke vandaag de dag bezig zie, pet af.
