Een geweldige prijs is er voor de winnaar van de Seat Cupra series in de UK volgend jaar.

Seat 'works' ETCC drive up for grabs

Cupra challenge offers stunning prize

The winner of next season's Seat Cupra championship will collect a fully paid works drive in the 2004 European Touring Car Championship with the marque.

Seat claims the prize fund for the new series, which will run alongside the British F3 and GT championships next season, is over £600,000 and should be a sufficient incentive to attract the young up-and-coming drivers into the series it desires.

"It's a fantastic opportunity for young drivers to acquire a professional contract which on paper is worth over half a million pounds," said Seat head of UK marketing, Mark McKenna. "A young driver can enter the championship at 17 years of age and at the age of 18 be competing at top European tracks as a works driver for SEAT UK."

The identity of the 20 drivers who will race the identical 250bhp cars next year will be revealed at the AUTOSPORT International Show (January 10-12).
